How do I combine both my offline and my online account so I can transfer my achievements to the online one? Ive had an offline profile for a few months and I have alot of achievements on it but I recently joined Xbox live and made a new profile.
So I tried to combine both on and offline profiles by loging in to my offline acc then I went to "Join Xbox live" but it requires another email , so I made another email but I created a New account. Is there a way to Make my offline account change from an offline account to an online one or is there a way to combine both off and online so I can have the achevements carried over onto the online profile?
Please post each step literally I would really appreciate your help. Ive had trouble with this for a few weeks now with no answer This article will take you through moving your gamertag onto your main Microsoft account so that all of your achievements and purchases are kept in one place.
Just follow the steps provided above to download the account onto your son's Xbox One account, and he will be able to use it. My son set up one gamertag on Xbox and another gamertag on Xbox one. We have a Live Gold subscription on the Xbox one and I don't want to buy another Gold subscription for the Can I combine the two GamerTags?
Merging Gamer Tags is not a simple or straightforward process. The reason for this is to prevent cheaters and hackers from merging their accomplishments across accounts. There are ways you can do this though, some of which involve merging offline account information so that it later syncs with the Xbox servers. However, in almost every case, this can cause you or your son to be labeled as a cheater or an exploiter by the system.
Your best route is to call Microsoft Support, where you purchased the Gold account, and see if they are able to help you. Iv been locked out of my Xbox live account if I create a new one will I still get my remaining subscription. I have tried: Rang Xbox support.
I think it was caused by: Forgot my security password. See more questions like this: I need to switch my Xbox live account to my brothers account so he can use his saved games? In I created one Xbox gamer-tag for the Xbox along with one Xbox live gold membership.
It was not until the intro of Xbox one that a need for my own gamer-tag, separate from my son's became apparent. The issue I am facing is that I am unable to change my sons gamer-tag associated Microsoft account the gamer-tag in particular over to a "child" microsoft account because the MS acct it is associated with is my original MS acct with my birth-date So I am unable to set restrictions, time limits, limit purchase etc for his account.
I did create a MS family account, and see the option to create a "child" MS account I want to ask before I try it The only question that is similar in nature is not answered quite right ALL of the other questions seem to be asking what I am asking however, none have been responded to.
The answer provided seems to assume that it is only the gamer-tag that needs to be re-associated, it does NOT reference the Microsoft account as a whole, which is what the Xbox Live, gamer-tag, Office, Windows user logins etc have become. My questions is if there is anything else I need to do before closing the original MS accounts. I have tried: Created new Gmail, entered as alias in said MS account. Not sure though. I think it was caused by: I am signed into most home devices via my Microsoft account or Google account.
I use my Gmail as the email for my main MS account. I recently removed my MS account from a user login on my windows 10 PC. I then assigned the user login to my son, using his MS account By being signed into my MS account on the computer and the Xbox at the same time as my son, I fear there is a background feature setting I did not know to toggle that has now linked our MS accounts somehow.
I recently had problems logging into one of my Microsoft accounts, so I want to switch the association of my account to a different one. If I do, will the payment information and Xbox live transfer over as well? It was Why does it say my card is expired when it doesn't expire until Tech Support 1 Answer. Ask A Question.
