What is the difference between nicop and poc

Pakistan Origin Card POC is an identity card which is issued to those Pakistani origin individuals who have renunciated their Pakistani nationality. POCs are valid for 7 years from the date of issuance ibid. The fee cannot be paid at the SRCs; rather, the fee must be paid at designated banks or at Pakistani embassies ibid. You are a foreign national, married to a Pakistani citizen and your parents are of Pakistani origin or ever held Pakistani nationality.

All those travelling with expired Nicop or any other overseas card for Pakistanis are entitled to enter into Pakistan. There are around 80, Britons in Pakistan, a substantial number of whom are British Pakistanis who have resettled in Pakistan.

A: The forms reflect the old fee structure, please ignore the validity section on the forms. Q: The forms claim POC validity is 7 years, is this correct?

A: No, the validity of POC is now 10 years. A: Approximate processing time is 2 months. The delay is mainly because the cards are made in Pakistan and then send to the mission here. Q: Do I need to send a return envelope with my application? A: Yes, if you want to receive a receipt for your application filed with this office.

The return envelope is not used for your card, that is sent on our expense. Q: Are there any other special instructions with regard to sending in an application? A: Each application is processed individually so if one family is applying, make sure you attach separate copies of each document with each application e. Q: I need to change my name.

What do I do? I would suggest NiCOP as it has better perks. I'm born in UK, my parents are from Pakistan and but have British passports for 30 plus years but I visited Pakistan in and I made a nicop card and when I was back in UK I made a nadra card which enabled me visa free entry into pakistan for 10 years so next year it will expire so I intend to renew my nadra card, do I renew the card or make a new POC card?

It's confusing. Does this make me a Pakistani national? I may be wrong? Is this true of a POC card? Also, if POC cards confer travel and property rights, what is the point of getting dual nationality?

I have no intention of ever voting. I would really appreciate any assistance on this. I don't see where I can ask this question on the Pakistan High Commission website? Thanks so much in advance. I have read this post and if I could I wish to suggest you few interesting things or advice. Perhaps you could write next articles referring to this article.
